Glossary B

B2B (Business-to-Business)
While the term e-commerce refers to all online transactions, B2B applies to any business or organization that sells its products or services to other businesses over the Internet. Overall, B2B transactions are more complex and have higher security needs.

B2C (Business-to-Customer)
The difference between B2B and B2C is that in B2C the customers are individuals.

Back Translation
Translation of materials that have previously been translated to another language, back to the original language.

Bi-Directional Language
When LTR text is mixed with RTL in the same paragraph, each type of text should be written in its own direction, which is known as bi-directional text. Bi-Directional bilingual software usually allows input of English or other Left-to-Right text, together with the native Right-to-Left text. Localization to Right-to-Left target languages requires that the software product will be able to read, handle and display bi-directional text properly.

Build Environment
A structured collection of all the files (in their respective folders) required for building (linking and compiling) an application.
