Namespaces
XML Namespaces provide a simple method for qualifying element and attribute names used in eXtensible Markup Language documents by associating them with namespaces identified by URI references. XML Namespaces are the solution to the problem of ambiguity and name collisions.

National Language Support (NLS)
A function that allows a software application to set the locale for the user, identify the language in which the user works, and retrieve strings ? representing times, dates and other information ? formatted correctly for the specified language and location. NLS also includes support for keyboard layouts and language-specific fonts.

Neologism
Word, term, or phrase which has been recently created ("coined") ? often to apply to new concepts, or to reshape older terms in newer language form. Neologisms are especially useful in identifying inventions, new phenomena, or old ideas which have taken on a new cultural context. The term e-mail, as used today, would be an example of a neologism.
